問題数は１００問、試験時間は１２０分です。ストラテジ系が約３５％、マネジメント系が約２０％、テクノロジ系が約４５％の割合で出題されます。
There are 100 questions and the exam time is 120 minutes. Approximately 35% of the questions are on strategy, 20% on management, and 45% on technology.
ストラテジ系 Strategy
ストラテジ系の分野では、企業の戦略的な側面と法務に関する知識が求められます。具体的には、経営戦略、法務、企業活動、経営管理システムなど、企業が効率的に運営されるための戦略的アプローチに焦点を当てています。ここでの知識は、ビジネスの意思決定や戦略的計画に役立つものです。
The Strategic field requires knowledge of the strategic aspects of a company and its legal affairs. Specifically, it focuses on strategic approaches to business strategy, legal affairs, corporate activities, and management control systems that enable a company to operate efficiently. The knowledge here is useful for business decision-making and strategic planning.
マネジメント系 Management
マネジメント系の分野は、プロジェクトマネジメントやサービスマネジメントなど、主に組織内での管理技術や手法に関連しています。ここでは、プロジェクトの計画、実行、監視、及び閉鎖など、プロジェクトを管理するための具体的なスキルが求められます。また、サービスマネジメントにおけるITサービスの提供や改善に必要な手法も学びます。
The management field is primarily concerned with management techniques and methods within an organization, such as project management and service management. Here, specific skills are required to manage projects, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Students also learn the techniques required to deliver and improve IT services in service management.
テクノロジ系 Technology
テクノロジ系の分野では技術的な基礎知識や具体的な技術スキルに重点を置いています。ここでは、基礎理論、アルゴリズムとプログラミング、コンピュータシステム、データベース、ネットワーク、セキュリティなど、情報技術の根幹をなす技術要素が含まれます。これにより、最新のIT技術やその適用についての理解を深めることができます。
The technology field focuses on technical fundamentals and specific technical skills. This includes the technical elements that underlie information technology, such as basic theory, algorithms and programming, computer systems, databases, networks, and security. This provides students with an understanding of the latest information technology and its application.
これら三つの分野は、ITの世界で活動するうえで必要な、戦略的思考、管理能力、そして具体的な技術的スキルの三つの柱として機能しています。ITパスポート試験を通じて、これらの知識とスキルをバランスよく身につけることが求められます。

In studying for the IT Passport exam, the approach of focusing on 63 subcategories is considered very effective.
